Angus Barrett's Motorbike Saddle Bags have been specifically designed to meet the OH&S requirements of sheep and cattle stations Australia-wide. These bags are designed to fit all makes of trail bikes and to carry food, water and first-aid.
The compartments are hard based with room for fencing pliers, knives and hand shears. The bag also includes a sealed, dry storage canister for documents such as maps or MSDA sheets. The bags are designed to be mounted to the bike, so that working dogs have a secure place to ride on top of the bags.
· The bags are made from 900gsm PVC reflective material. The PVC is a very strong fabric which is UV and FR (Flame Retardancy) treated. This material is extremely strong and durable and is used in the transport industries.
· The bag is mounted onto 2mm HDPE plastic that is very flexible and durable. The bag is designed not to break in a drop or fall.
· Stainless steel buckles used on the bags. The buckles are commonly used in the mining industry to tie hydraulic hoses together in extreme heat and demanding work places. They are made from 318 grade stainless steel and are spring loaded.
· The bag has been completely double stitched so that if a thread is cut or burnt the bag will remain strong and intact.
· The webbing used to mount the bags has a 1500kg breaking strain. If the webbing is burnt or cut, an eyelet has been inserted in each corner so that the bag can be fastened and used with either wire or rope.
· The bags come complete with No.3 handy first aid kit, 4litre water bottle and 2.4litre airtight box
