Neck Tie

Angus Barrett Neck Ties can either by used as a safety collar to prevent injury to young horses when teaching them to tie up, or used as stallion collars as a safety mechanism for randy old boys, to increase the strength of a normal halter and ensure your stallion is secured.  If your using rope halters this neck tie works in conjunction to prevent cutting or injuring the horse.
For example, if you want to teach a young horse to tie, you will use a rope halter and tie it up to something solid so that the horse cannot get away.  You know the horse may pull back and hurt itself, so you attach an Angus Barrett neck tie behind the halter.  When the horse does lay back the pressure ultimately goes onto the neck tie which spreads the load over a larger area across the horses' neck, preventing any injury to the horse.
